damn odama, i cant believe he's letting this go! he must have some master plan. it's amazing how they trust athena so much, i always am waiting for her to screw the humans over!

2.) so close and they didn't manage to wipe out the cylons once and for all time? surprise, surprise now that would have been a nice ending of the series, like "no, all the announced future episodes are fake, bsg is over". anyway, i am very curious how they're going to explain that the cylons are (suddenly) immune against that virus. they have to because the humans could still use the virus as a weapon and build some new beacons or weapons which carry it. maybe baltar baltar is going to get back his reputation by developing a cure. we'll see.
3.) hmmm... i think the desease would only effect the human-form cylons and not the metal-toasters... so this would have been an interesting turn too... this would take the series a little closer to the original series...

4.) I think they can not try again with the virus because Roslin knows she had her shot and blew it. Adama is never going to let her try something like that again because genocide is unthinkably immoral no matter what the reason. If the humans were to commit genocide on the Cylons they would be losing their humanity permentantly and so would have already done the toasters jobs for them. In genoside even the winner is a loser.
It looked like the virus did effect the metal Cylons on the effected Base Ship as well.
