It's the day before Emily is scheduled to get married again and Ross is nervous. Gary offers to take the guys on a ride along in his police car. Rachel goes to Ross's to get Monica's blender while he's on the stakeout and hears a message from Emily while she's there. While on the ride along, a car backfires and mistaking it for a gunshot, Joey jumps to save Ross, causing jealousy from Chandler. Rachel accidentally erases the message but tells Ross anyway. Ross wants to call Emily but Rachel talks him out of it.
