Stargate Atlantis (2004) - 3x11 - The Return (2)

General O’Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) and Richard Woosley (Robert Picardo), the lone survivors of the replicators’ bloody coup of Atlantis, hide out in an abandoned section of the city. Knowing O’Neil gave General Landry (Beau Bridges) a standing order to nuke Atlantis if a foothold situation should ever arise, the two lay low awaiting their fate.

Meanwhile Col. Sheppard (Joe Flanigan), along with the ex-Atlantis team, decide to go AWOL stealing a jumper and gating to the Pegasus galaxy with hopes of saving O’Neill, Woosley and the city before the Daedalus arrives and delivers the nuke. McKay hatches a plan to use Niam’s (John O’Callaghan) body to deliver a coded virus that would disrupt the replicators long enough for the team to destroy them all. But when Niam suddenly awakens, McKay is forced to destroy him leaving the team with an ever shortening deadline to improvise a new plan.

With the help of O’Neill and Woosley the team infiltrates the base with their new plan to sabotage the city’s shields so that the Daedalus can deliver it’s nuke. The replicators, having successfully rebuilt the city, are able to quickly locate the would-be saboteurs, probing their minds to learn and foil the team’s plan. With the Daedalus only moments away and the replicators aware of their sabotage plan the team will need a miracle to survive.
